Sebring Door Locks Not Working

Since a couple of days i can t lock the doors by using the transmitter or by using the switches inside the car.

The doors will automatically lock upon shutting off the engine and get out of my 1998 chrysler sebring. Open the fuse box found on the far left side of the dash with the drivers door open.

Click both the lock and unlock buttons simultaneously on the remote release both then click and release just the unlock button. The central locking is not working more often than not. Unplug the door latch connector and set up across the lock solenoid terminals with the test light. Unlocking by using the transmitter or switches is still possible. Consult the fuse box placard or your owners manual for fuse designations and ratings. All functions work except the remote will not lock the doors. If all of the door locks are inoperative start your diagnosis at the fuse box. Inspect the fuse that protects the door lock circuit to ensure it is not blown.
